Pricing varies based on amount of product/what type of product we need to achieve your goals. You may need more than one treatment to get to your desired goals.


FREQUENCY OF TREATMENT: Every 6-9 months is recommended for best results.

  • To help avoid bruising, you can start taking Arnica tablets one week prior to your procedure. If you are getting your lips filled, this is recommended.

  • Please come with no face makeup on.

  • Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin, Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginko Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E for 7-10 days prior to procedure, as these may cause increase risk of bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). Regular multi-vitamin and

  • Tylenol® is permitted (If not contraindicated).

  • Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to procedure as this can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s).

  • Do not stop taking prescription anti-coagulants (Coumadin or Plavis) without speaking to your primary physician.

  • If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, make sure you inform the doctor that you have made your appointment with, one week prior to your appointment; this will allow us adequate time to prescribe a medication to prevent an outbreak.If you do not have a prescription, please contact Becca.

  • Eat a small meal or a snack before your appointment.

  • Schedule your appointment at least 1 month before a big event (wedding, etc.) . It can take a few weeks for bruising and swelling to subside.

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

 

PRE-FILLER CARE

POST-FILLER CARE

PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING, AS THESE ARE SIGNS OF A VASCULAR OCCLUSION / MEDICAL EMERGENCY.

  • Severe pain and/or color change (pale/dusky/blotchiness) of skin anywhere on the face. Even if it is not in the direct area of the injection.

  • Increase in pain, discomfort, color change hours after injections. This should get better not worse as time goes on.

  • Severe swelling (3 times increase in size) 12 hours post-treatment.

  • Send a photo to 605-350-3330 immediately

 

Post-care may vary based on area treated

  • The majority of reactions to dermal fillers are redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness after the injections. These usually subside a few days after the treatment, but can last up to a week. If any of these symptoms persist longer than a week, or if you develop other symptoms, please contact Becca.

  • Cold compresses may be used after the treatment to reduce swelling and decrease soreness. You may take Tylenol (if not contraindicated) every 4-6 hours after the treatment to help with any discomfort you may have. Zyrtec or Benadryl can help with swelling.

  • Please no makeup for 24 hours.

  • Please sleep on your back.

  • Patients should avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours to prevent moving the filler or increasing blood flow to the face.

  • Avoid taking aspirin (unless medically necessary) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as  Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin, Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginko Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E for 5 days after the treatment, as these may cause an increased risk of bleeding or bruising at the injection sites.

  • Avoid excessive touching or massaging the treated areas for about 6 hours after the injections. The treated areas can be washed with a gentle cleanser.

  • Avoid dental procedure (including cleaning) 2 weeks post filler

  • Please return in 2 weeks for a follow-up assessment appointment, this is to ensure you are happy with the results and to see how product has integrated. 

  • Lip filler- avoid straws, smoking, pursed lip movements for the first 24 hours post injection.

  • Multiple sessions may be required to reach your goals. Allow the product 4 weeks to fully settle before receiving further injections. 

  • 1mL is recommended to start for lip injections to prevent lip distortion and maintain lip shape. Again, you may need multiple session to achieve your goals.
